Mittwoch, 11. M\u00e4rz 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bevor wir uns wieder auf den Weg machen, laufen wir nochmals zur Kirche. Die h\u00f6lzerne Eingangst\u00fcre ist der Hammer. Drinnen wieder Fotoverbot. Wir werden richtig geblendet vom Gold, das die vielen Altare ziert. Man kann hier auch sein Auto segnen lassen. Die meisten Fahrer dekorieren ihr Fahrzeug vor der Segnung.
Wir fahren weiter Richtung peruanische Grenze. Man hat uns gesagt, dass in Peru Benzinknappheit herrsche, weil eine Leitung geplatzt sei. Wir werden sehen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wir kommen am kleinen Flughafen vorbei. Die Startbahn f\u00fchrt zum See. Die Strasse wird immer schlechter. Schon bald erreichen wir die Grenze. Die Strasse ist mit F\u00e4ssern gesperrt. Ein Herr nimmt die F\u00e4sser weg und l\u00e4sst und durchfahren. Dann stehen wir wieder vor einer Absperrung, die mit einem Schloss versehen ist. Wir erledigen die Formalit\u00e4ten auf der bolivianischen Seite. Das geht sehr speditiv. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wir m\u00fcssen ein paar Minuten warten, bis eine Dame die Absperrung \u00f6ffnet. Durch ein gemauertes Tor fahren wir nach Peru. Auch dort sind die Formalit\u00e4ten kein Problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Auto wird von drei Herren kontrolliert. Die ganze Zeit futtern sie S\u00fcssigkeiten aus einem grossen Sack. Sie benehmen sich ein wenig wie Machos. Neugierig schauen sie in unsere Schr\u00e4nke und haben nichts zu beanstanden. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Weiterfahrt geht zuerst dem See entlang und danach ins Innere. Die Landschaft ist flach und mit vielen kleinen Feldern \u00fcbers\u00e4t. Zwischen den Bohnen und Kartoffeln stecken Vogelscheuchen. Manchmal tauchen bizarre Felsen auf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In der Ortschaft Juli will Manfred Geld abheben, kommt aber zuerst Mitten in einen Markt zu stehen. Bei Western Union sagt man Manfred, er k\u00f6nne nicht sich selbst Geld schicken!!??? Das erste Mal w\u00e4hrend unserer langen Reise, dass in einer Bank so etwas gesagt wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Puno will Manfred zuerst Geld holen und wird wieder von Google in die engsten Gassen geschickt. Dazu ist dort erst noch keine Bank. Wir parkieren auf dem \u00f6ffentlichen Parkplatz am See. Manfred geht zu Fuss in die Stadt. Die Banken haben aber schon geschlossen. In der Altstadt lassen wir uns ein gutes Abendessen schmecken. Als wir zur\u00fcck auf den Parkplatz kommen, weisst uns die Platzwartin einen anderen Platz zu. Wir k\u00f6nnen hier schlafen, sollen aber ins Licht in die N\u00e4he der L\u00e4den umziehen. Dort werden wir gesehen und die Securitas patrouilliert in der Nacht. Dort wo wir jetzt stehen, ist es stockdunkel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
