Heute ist ein Feiertag. Wir lassen uns bei wunderbarer Aussicht viel Zeit mit dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck. Es ist schon 10:30 Uhr, als wir uns auf den Weg nach El Chalten machen. Es hat mir schon ein wenig \u00abgestunken\u00bb wenn ich wieder an die langen Geraden der Pampa denke. An der Grenze zu Chile ist das aber nicht anders m\u00f6glich. Da gibt es nur hohe Berge, Gletscher, Seen und Inseln. Um sich nord- oder s\u00fcdw\u00e4rts zu bewegen, muss man entweder F\u00e4hren benutzen, oder in die Pampas fahren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heute ist es wirklich gar nicht langweilig. Schon bald kann man aus der Ferne den Mount Fitz Roy erahnen. Wir erreichen das Ende des Lago Argentino und erkennen auf der anderen Seite El Calafate. Bald taucht der Rio Santa Cruz auf. Es gibt hier viel Wasser in diversen Fl\u00fcssen, aber die Landschaft sieht sehr trocken aus. La Leona ist auch so ein breiter Gletscherfluss. Bei der Br\u00fccke \u00fcber den Fluss steht ein Hotel.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Wir fahren lange dem Fluss entlang, der sich durch die Ebene windet. Bevor der Lago Viedma auftaucht, sehen wir den Glaciar Viedma in der Ferne, der den Berg Cerro Perito Moreno 3393m bedeckt. Beim Aussichtspunkt \u00fcber den See machen wir Mittagshalt. Kurz danach m\u00fcssen wir in die Strasse 23 abbiegen. In unserer Karte ist sie noch als Schotterpiste eingetragen, sie ist aber geteert. Sie f\u00fchrt nun dem See entlang. Immer im Blick ist der Monte Fitz Roy. Die Strecke zieht sich aber in die L\u00e4nge.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Komische Wolken bilden sich \u00fcber der Szenerie. Gegen 16 Uhr erreichen wir El Chalten. Zuerst besuchen wir das Informationszentrum. Sie raten uns, morgen nur mit dem Auto bis zum Ende der Strasse zu fahren und unterwegs den Wasserfall zu besuchen. Es werde bedeckt sein. Wir sollen am Samstag eine Wanderung unternehmen. Die Wettervorhersage prophezeie strahlenden Sonnenschein und f\u00fcr diese Gegend un\u00fcblich hohe Temperaturen. Wir werden den Rat befolgen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
